Pink tinged discharge at 6 ish weeks

Hi all. I'm about 6.5 weeks pregnant. I haven't had any appointments with a midwife yet obviously and don't really know what to do in this situation. I have a 2 year old but never experienced this when I was pregnant with her. When I went to the toilet this morning and had a poo (sorry for tmi but maybe important!) I saw pink tinged discharge when I wiped. I'm trying not to panic but not too sure what I even do in this situation? Presumably nothing I can do on a Sunday anyway? Any advice welcome thank you

Most likely an implantation bleed. (usually happens about 5-6 weeks in) As long as its not lots of blood, clots, dark red and accompanied with strong period pain you and baba should be fine. Had this with all my pregnancies. You can always call a midwife at the EPU tomorrow for reassurance. Fx all is fine.

Have you had anymore since your bowel movement?
Did you strain?
Could simply that you strained too hard and have a sensitive cervix..
Or could be implantation bleeding. I had one at 8 weeks. Try to rest if it gets worse or you get cramps then call you EPU in the morning.

No blood since that one time this morning. Yes I think I did strain a little Blush

I've had no cramps

I'm not sure whether to ring the midwife team tomorrow regardless or not. If nothing else happens then maybe I shouldn't?

If it was just a tinge then everything should be fine and don't worry about calling the midwives but if there's anymore or you get awful cramps (more than just the uterus stretching) then give them a ring ASAP. FX for you, go and rest up x

Sounds like it was just because of using the bathroom..Try not to strain next time.
