Hello,

First of all am not sure if i should put this in childbirth or pregnancy but i might try both.

Anyway am 33 and half weeks (2nd baby) and for about a week i having been having alot of bh. Very noticable ones too. But for the last 3 days i have been getting alot of period type pains that seem to be coming in waves and also have had the runs too, So basically i was wondering is this normal. I mentioned it to my friend whos a nurse and she said i had better take it easy because they can be signs of preterm labour so if it goes any longer get in touch with my midwife.

So my question is... Is this completely normal for this stage, i didnt have this problem last time. x

I had bh's with dd and again with ds2b and im 33 weeks. Yesterday they were very strong and sore and regular but I just expect them iykwim..

Given the other symptoms I would speak to your mw and they want to keep an eye on you..
How are you today..?

BH certainly normal....
as for the pains and upset tummy..there is a bug going round at the mo!! if the pains are regular and in a rhythm and increasing in intensity and you are worried it is preterm labour ward, also, if you lose any fluid or have show....
