Trying to get DH onto forums for a bit of extra information, but he won't come onto mumsnet, he says he is put of by the fact that it is called 'mums'net (rolls eyes). So just wondering if you guys know of anything that he might find interesting?

babycentre has a forum for dads only ... isn't there a mens room on here anyway?? Buy a jokey book - there are a few in W H Smiths - like the blokes guide to pregnancy ... anyway IMHO some blokes aren't so into discovering everything there is to know about pregnancy ...

also my DH bought a book called "the dad's guide to the first year" and a book which is laid out like a computer manual so it appealed to his inner geek.

mine found some of the jokey blokey books a bit too flippant and patronising...but one book he liked was 'From Here To Paternity (The Diary of a Pregnant Man)' by Andrew Cullen...which is funny & very honest about the male perspective...and quite moving at the end when he describes his baby's birth...
