Advice please!!

Im 40 weeks plus pregnant FTM and im sick of waiting now. all i want to do is meet my little boy but labour does not seem to be near.
Do you need any signs right before contractions start to come or before your wters break??

I had period type pains for 2 weeks before contractions started with my last pregnancy. It was really annoying to be honest!
