Irritated as I know my dates!

Had previous miscarriages so when TTC I record everything! I know the date I fell pregnant which would make me 36 weeks but scan is saying 35 weeks. Shall I ignore and go with what I know is 100% fact rather than what the scan says?

Right now waiting another week makes a huge difference. Every min is a struggle right now.

I am really, really sorry for that. Many people on here will have been there. But they won't change your dates.

When are they planning your section 39 weeks? You might be able to push for 38, but fundamentally, wasting energy on wanting to change your dates is just wasted energy. I'm really sorry - I've been there (in a totally different capacity), but it's not something in your control so you have to let it go.

Same thing happened to me... was charting temping monitoring cm etc... to me I should be a week further along but according to my 12w scan I was a week behind my dates... spoke to the midwife who said "Oh well more time to go naturally before they would look to induce you then..." sorry yor having a hard time :(

I was the same with my first pregnancy. Dp and I were in a long distance relationship so I know when I conceived. Private scan was accurate but nhs was a week later. I told the midwife i didn't think it was rights X she had the cheek to as if dp was definitely the father!!

It didn't matter either way in the end though as ds was both 2 months early!!
