I'm currently awaiting no.3 to make his arrival and I'm getting so impatient. Currently 40+2. My first was 42+2 and second was 41+5. Booked in for an induction at 41 weeks but really don't want to have to wait that long.

Same as the days leading up to your 12 week scan go slowly I suppose! I only went overdue once so was lucky in that sense.

Induced at 40 (waters broke) however due end of August with dc2 so might be crossing legs for Sept child this time. ..she says now...

Has anyone else heard the theory that it is linked to your cycle?
Most women having a 28 day cycle leading to 40 weeks.

I have a 23 day cycle. Both of mine were spontaneous labour.
Although I know I came a week early (was due on a public holiday so mum remembers) so maybe this is also related

I have heard of this. I had very irregular cycles prior to dc2 (with dc1 I got pregnant first month after being on pill so never knew my natural cycles) - mine I think are def more like 33 days if not more - I wa overdue.
