I can't see how women enjoy pregnancy or say they miss being pregnant.
28+2 here and still suffering horrendous morning sickness. Today I can't even keep any liquids down. Had to get off the train twice to throw up and might have to turn around and go home tbh. I've Been throwing up since week bloody five sometimes as much as seven times a day. I have horrendous heartburn some days. So bad the other night I tore my throat vomiting and threw up blood. Let's add restless leg syndrome and tingly feet every time I sit down so I can't even relax, aching body, aching back, constantly nauseous! Why! Why hasn't the morning sickness gone by now :( sorry for the rant but I can't bear the thought I have possibly until week 42 of this :(

Yy, the pregnancy sickness support website is a god send. On ondansetron here and still sick though so OP may well already be on anti sickness already.

looking for the positives, i can say in favour of my experience of being a repeat offender are the following:

  1. people don't assume i want to talk about it - and are as bored as i am of my pregnancies.
  1. i am not consumed by it. i don't count the days or weeks particularly well although this was the first time i completely lost track of which week i am in and was out by several weeks.
  1. i am confident in my food and alcohol choices (ignore everything) and people don't judge me for it or if they do they keep the feck quiet about it
  1. i know what is to come and because i can still dance the fandango in the kitchen, i do. regularly. much to the horror of the rest of the house.
  1. there is no deliberation about how and when the labour will onset. it won't.
  1. i know, that whatever happens, this will end and i will be fit and healthy again!

I just hate every minute of being pregnant. Having a crap day today in terms of having thrush and having to wait to see a GP to see if I can take the medicine I need. It's such a faff. The sickness is crap too and the food you can't eat. I love being a mum (this is my second pregnancy) but hate being pregnant. This is my second and last pregnancy because I just do not want to do it again. My first one was horrendous because of HG but the end result was amazing. Love my little boy but just hate pregnancy. Glad I'm not the only one.

Yup I’m not enjoying it one bit! I have pre eclampsia and keep getting kept in after my check ups so every time you get a fright! I am really swollen all the time too and I have gone from being super fit to zero exercise capacity, if I get myself off the couch I am out of breath let alone the stairs! A minor but annoying complaint too I have also had acne the whole time, not just a few spots but literal boils that just will not go. I also have them on my back. I really do envy the mammies that are walking around with a neat bump looking super glam and cruising through ha ha. I know it will be worth it in the end but I think I had completely different expectations of how pregnancy would be to how I have experienced it, I’m on a lot of bed rest too which drives me nuts since I’m normally a busy bee! I know it will all be worth it in the end!
