Don't feel pregnant

So I'm 8 + 6 and still don't feel pregnant as such. I've had nausea and vomiting for 3 weeks now along with sore breasts and bloating, so I clearly am pregnant but in my head it's still not real. I haven't seen a health care professional yet (booking appointment is first week of January), so I don't know whether that's part of it? We've told both our families who have been very excited and supportive, but I still don't feel like my head's in the right place yet. Anyone else experienced feeling like this?

Yep. I didn't believe there was actually a baby in there until he appeared in my arms. It still took a few days to sink in. Totally normal, don't worry.

I felt exactly the same! Was utterly convinced when I went for the scan there would be no baby in there - but when there was, seeing it in the screen was surreal, as if they were playing back images from somebody else! I'm 21 weeks now and since hitting the bit of pregnancy where I don't feel totally shit all the time I had days when I didn't feel pregnant (despite my ever expanding belly...) and I would freak out a bit that that meant something had gone wrong - but now the kicks are coming, so there is definitely someone in there!
Please be reassured, if you trawl MN you'll find many many people saying exactly the same Smile find the antenatal club for your due date and the other people at the same point as you will often be experiencing very similar highs and lows in real time! And congratulations!!

I'm 14+3 with dc3 and I don't feel pregnant either! I'm over the sickness and now just feel exhausted all of the time. From the last two, I know I only start to feel pregnant and connect with the baby when I can feel it move, I have a proper bump by then and stop feeling just a bit fat.

I only feel pregnant (25weeks) when I look in the mirror and...bam! Pregnant lady! Grin seriously it's so strange for me!!

I was on the mini pill for ages before TTC and was so used to not having periods I didn't realise I was pregnant until I was around 10/11 weeks Blush

I had no morning sickness, very little unusual tiredness, very boring really, but DS was absolutely fine.
