Could I be pregnant?

I had sex on December 5th & 6th which are the last days of my fertile days and not be graphic but saw white cloudy discharge on his penis afterwards followed by no odor then more fluids started to come the 2nd time when we had sex. Had my period November 22, 2015. I ovulated between the 7th & 9th. My period was due the 22nd or 23rd of December but have no signs of my period like usually where my breast gets sore. I have rarely any discharge now and mild cramping at times in my pelvis and even had sharp shooting pain on the day I ovulated and few days ago in my vagina. I took a clear blue digital test today Dec 25 and got a negative result. Is it possible I can still be pregnant? My avg cycle is usually 30-31 days. Shortest cycle 29 and longest is 32. It's Dec 26 but still no signs of period. Thanks everyone who replies.

Well, why else would you regularly test for STDs? They don't appear out of nowhere. I'm not trying to rude, just struggling to follow the OP's story, here.

To be rude*

mariet149 · 26/12/2015 22:08

I know goodnight I thought your comment was funny.

mariet149 · 26/12/2015 22:10

Because all women are supposed to get pap smear every 6 months unless they are nasty

You must be in America then? We only get smear tests every 3 years in the UK and they don't routinely test for stds only pre cancerous cells. Unless you ask for an std test. They must do it differently elsewhere.

In US they check for everything without you asking

Notrevealingmyidentity · 26/12/2015 22:34

No way are they required every 6 months. That's ridiculous.

Notrevealingmyidentity · 26/12/2015 22:38

You can say had sex you know. Or fuck if the mood taken you.

I don't see why you would need to be tested for STI a unless you have reason to believe you have been exposed.

It disturbs me how over medicalised the USA can be.

mariet149 · 27/12/2015 05:40

With due respect, what does any of the usa policy has to do with my question? I didn't create this post to talk about sti or std but only if I have a chance of being pregnant.

Discussions evolve. Welcome to MN. I personally asked because I couldn't get your story straight, and I was wondering if you were on the level.

In any case, you have your answer. Wait a week and test again. For pregnancy, that is, not STDs.

genericusername1 · 27/12/2015 22:44

I don't understand why you're getting such rude responses Hmm

All you can do is wait a few days and test again, preferably in the morning as your urine is less diluted then. As you've had unprotected sex around the time you ovulated and your period is late then yes obviously there is a chance that you might be pregnant but for a lot of women it can take a few months. I hope you get the result you want and I'm so sorry about your dh Thanks

It came up in the context of the thread. Sometimes that happens in a conversation. It drifts.

I was actually wondering what on earth you were talking about.

Mia344 · 20/09/2021 13:12

Why are you being rude ? whether they have multiple partners or not has nothing to do with you stop being weird and mind your business.
