Hello,
Can I have some advice please. I'm 39weeks+6 days and I've just fallen down the stairs holding my 21month old. My son was in my arms and landed on my bump. Should I get checked out? I've git a dull ache to the bottom of my bump on the right which is where I bumped the stair gate. Think baby is moving but feels tender.

Just what I don't need!!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Oh no, what a shock for you Flowers

Are you Rh neg? If so you better go in.

Otherwise if it was me I would probably wait and hour or two, see what things are like movement-wise and whether the pain subsides.

No I'm not Rh neg.

I'm so bloody clumsy, no idea how it happened. I bloody ache all over on top of being heavily pregnant.

Just had a sob, and got my feet up for a bit.

Thank you x

Is there anyone else there to look after your toddler for a bit?

Maybe lie down on your left side and count kicks for an hour.

Trust your own instincts though- if you're uneasy then go in and get checked.

I'd say if ur uneasy go get checked especially since u landed in ur bump x

I'd call your MW and see what she says. And have some chocolate for the shock! Hope you're ok op xx

Thanks everyone, I called my midwife and had to go in for monitoring. Everything seems ok, starting to ache now but resting as much as I can.

Hope baby arrives soon!
