Hi ladies, I had my 12 week appt today at 12+2. Consultant measured baby at 10+6 so 10 days earlier. Normally this wouldn't concern me, I know dates can vary. But firstly I'm sure of my dates and secondly I had 2 early scans at the early pregnancy clinic at 6 and 8 weeks (mc in august) which were bang on. Thirdly both dc were measuring bigger from 12 weeks on.Consultant is not concerned but he kept my dates as per 8 week scan as feels the earlier scans are more accurate and I need a date for elcs. I'm just worried about the growth really surely 2 weeks growth in a month is not normal? Had my concerns completely dismissed Hmm has anyone any anecdotes for me? Thought I would feel relieved today but not now.

12 wk scan would be most accurate, scientifically, statistically. ~12 wk scan should be correct within 3 days 95% of the time.

Problem is, you've been measured at under 11 wks, it seems, so not ideally close to 12 weeks after all.

Is it definite you must have a CS?

Thand lljkk. Seems definite re cs. DS1 was emcs, and they persuaded me to have elcs on DS2 as he was over 10lb. I wouldn't risk a VBAC following 2 cs. Hmm unsure what to do. He offered me a growth scan at 28 weeks due to hypothyroidism (under control) but that seems very far away.
