40 week rant

I realise I am being a massive brat and I just need to relax, but I am fed up. Have had a nice easy pregnancy and really cannot complain but I've had enough now. If I could walk for more than 30 minutes I would be happier, but I feel so physically limited it is very frustrating. I am on mat leave and at times am nice and relaxed and god knows I have been napping enough, but I'm ready for this baby now. I want to have my body back (just enough to be able to move, put on socks, not have to stand 3ft away from the sink when doing the washing up!).

And of course I want my baby here, I want to meet him - I've been waiting for 9 months and my dh has been waiting for 9 months. I fucking hate these last couple of weeks!

p.s. there are a lot of threads on google from women who are like 37 weeks and nipple tweak for 10 mins and are instantly in labour. My nips are bloody sore from the tweaking and bugger all has happened. This child may only be planning to check out of my uterus about the time he goes to university Hmm

Congratulations Twin!! :)

You're next Lemon :)

I've still not had any signs :( been drinking raspberry leaf tea, bouncing on ball and DTD to no avail as yet!

I wish I could add something positive! Currently 41 weeks pregnant after an awful pregnancy of SPD and Hyperemesis. Had two sweeps now and felt positive after my last on Friday and thought I'd had my show, but now 48 hours later I feel nothing except a lot of pressure around my bladder! Induced on Friday if baby isn't here by then Sad

Very proud to say my son was born today at 16.00 after a 24hr labour. I have never been more exhausted in my life, but the wee man on my chest may well be worth it Grin

Ilovehotsauce, are you due on 23rd? If so, then so am I.

I too want my body back, but I haven't been nesting much. Still need to give the room a tidy.
