Watery discharge? 17 weeks

Hi all 17.3 weeks with DC2...this morning felt a little gush and saw my pants were a bit moist with totally clear discharge. Nothing since.

TBh this could occasionally happen even before I was preg, so trying not to worry, just couldn't help thinking it could be amniotic fluid? Had a scan 3 days ago and all looked fine then.

Has anyone else encountered this please?

I would ring your local MAU to let them know, and let them decide what they want to do.

I've had this too, would also be interested to here anyone else experiences? Although also (sorry tmi) not rare for me to sometimes have the sudden gush when standing up/moving from before preg too.
Im going to try and get hold of some PH Strips (Boots stupidly don't sell them) as read:

The pH test involves sampling vaginal fluid to see how acidic or alkaline it is. Normal pH for vaginal fluid is between 4.5 and 5.5, and normal pH of amniotic fluid usually falls between 7.0 and 7.5. (When measuring pH, the higher the number, the more alkaline the substance.) If a sample of your vaginal fluid is more alkaline than normal vaginal pH, then it is very likely that the membranes have ruptured and amniotic fluid has leaked into the vagina.
