nursing bras for large bust but not too expensive?

Does anyone know where I can get any?

I found this on eBay www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131524825081 it's an Amoraoia second skin and is 9.99 inc. postage, it is very comfy. It's been quite difficult to find a good reasonably priced one!

Honestly? I just gave up with them (no support, uni-boob, general uncomfortableness) and bought some cheapy big bras which I pulled the strap off my shoulder and popped my boob over the top whenever I fed. You can also adapt them into nursing bras yourself if you're in any way crafty. The selection was crap when I looked.

Thank you, that looks great! How did you work out what size to get? Any yes it is so hard to find an inexpensive bra in a larger size!

I dropped in a mothercare sale and got several 2 packs for £10 each - rep was £28.

Currently in a G cup.

How did you get on out of the house with a normal bra? I may be jumping ahead here as still have 10 weeks til baby is due but am already worrying about the logistics of breast feeding!

What size, and what is expensive? good selection of sizes, but start around £30

£30 is expensive as assuming I'll need more than 1?!

It's cheaper than my normal bras (£45 each last time), hence my question.
I fed with 2 bras. Suggest holding off, and making do until supply settles, and your out and about. Then buy the size you need.

Feeding in the early days isn't elegant, and best done on the sofa or bed.
When you get the hang of it, its fine. Don't stress.

Would you suggest getting just a couple then and get some more when breastfeeding is established? Would I be better waiting til a few weeks before I'm due to get them so I'd have a better idea of size?

I would wear a bra and two vest tops. Outer vest top would come up (covering my 'cleavage'). Under-vest and bra would have the straps pulled slightly down my arm and my boob pulled out over the top. It would be a vest top sandwich with my nipple sticking out in between :)

Buy clips off ebay and convert your own bras.

Took me to DC3 to discover, but was revolutionary.

ps. Don't rely on buying many whilst pregnant. My rib cage went from a 32 pre pregnancy to a 36/38 at 9 months, and back down to a 34 quickly after birth.

I know some people won't like this as they may think "skanky" but charity shop . I raided three shops and got 20 bras for £0.50 . Most were marks and spencer ones

The fitting lady said they do a H, but not in my store would have to buy online.

I was a DD pre pregnancy, went upto an F while pregnant and have levelled out at a G.

On day 3 when my milk came in my breast feeding support midwife estimated them at a K! I'm only 5'2" and they felt like they stuck out as far as I was tall.

Normal bras work just fine, honestly. Maybe don't go for a massive full cup - I wear half-cups or balconette bras and it's really easy to just slide strap off your shoulder and pull boob out.

Oh and if you still want to get nursing bras, no don't get fitted before the baby arrives. It's just a very general guess what size you might be afterwards.

It's hard to know what size you'll be though so maybe just get one until you know? The bravado ones are multi size

I wouldn't buy anything til feeding established. Your boobs and ribs will shift in size.
I'd get something like these, and if you need more bras while pregnant, get nursing ones. Then order online when things have settled.

There is no way I could get my boob out of my normal bras. I guess it depends on the person tho, as many have said they can.

I really liked the nursing tank tops with built in support. It made it easy to breastfeed out and about in any v-necked top or dress. Plus, very cheap compared with bras.
Like others, I also just popped a boob out of a normal bra, those little clips are overrated!

With DS I was a 28DD prior to pregnancy and went up to 36H just prior to giving birth and for first 2wks of BF, then went down to 34G for a few months then gradually back down to 28E
But this time I've gone up a bit more rapidly in chest size and am already up to a 34E at 18wks - thankfully I kept the bra shop I seemed to purchase with DS and am working my way through them.

My pre pregnancy size was 30H. Went up to 34H/36G when pregnant. Now 34J/32K.

Got my bras for £25 ish from nursing bra shop online. So obviously existing bras not an option so just accepted the need for nursing bras which are actually cheaper than normal bras in my ridiculous size!
