Hi, just wondered if anyone has any good/bad reviews of maternity pyjama bottoms? Think I would be more comfortable with over the bump. Thanks

I just bought cheap normal ones from Primark a size up from usual. I find them a lot comfier as my bump is huge and a lot of over the bump stuff just doesn't cut it! Plus it's not the end of the world if I ruin them since they were cheap.

I bought some from Asda. They look like clown trousers but are v comfortable! They are blue and white patterned ones and the top can be used as a nursing top too. Good luck!

Junosmum · 01/12/2015 13:03

I'm the same as Edgar. Save your money for nursing ones.

I wouldn't bother, honestly - I just bought some pyjama bottoms a size up, from Matalan. Wore them with a soft cup bra when I was in the sore-boob stage.

Bought some maternity PJs from Tesco (Florence and Fred) online. They are nice but the bottoms kept falling down (!), so I went into Peacocks and bought some size 20 (OMG!) drawstring bottoms. You could fit 3 of my legs in each leghole, but they go round my bump and don't fall down. Comfiest thing I currently own.

I had lovely ones from JojoMamanBebe.

I have a couple of really comfy pairs from Next, still wearing them 6 weeks after delivery (need to stop eating cake!).

Thanks all :-)

Love my m&s over bump ones- very comfy and soft- £12.50. Found normal pjs a bit uncomfortable after a while.

Oysterbabe · 01/12/2015 19:35

I got some maternity over bump ones from Primark for £5.

CarrotPuff · 01/12/2015 21:05

Primark has maternity range??

Oysterbabe · 01/12/2015 22:16

They have maternity sleepwear and bras in ours.

MyMiddleNameIsLaura · 01/12/2015 22:26

I just got these and they're pretty comfy.

SleepForTheWeak · 01/12/2015 22:41

I got over the bump ones from mothercare and loved them - got another pair as they were so comfy! Very soft and light material with a nice vest top which was easy to feed DD with.

Lillylou1991 · 02/12/2015 12:15

Im with sleepfortheweak i got a great chequered pair of over the bump pjs from mothercare in their sale! i got too uncomfortable with my huge size up primarnie pjs digging into LOs head as hes so low down in my pelvis now, plus the mothercare top works as a nursing vest too which im sure will be useful! Smile

I wouldn't bother with Mat pjs. I'm just wearing my sister's old pjs cos she's 2 sizes bigger than me, fits fine and comfortable. save the money!!

Doje · 02/12/2015 19:54

I got given some Jojo Maman Bebe ones by my SIL. I loved them and practically lived in them for the last couple of months.

seven201 · 02/12/2015 20:08

I haven't got mine yet (only 11 weeks) but I absolutely love good pj's so have asked my sisters to get me some jojo pj's for Christmas. It is the present I am most excited about!
