Anterior Placenta- what are your movements like?

I am literally the most paranoid person over movements. I have an anterior placenta and I am 25 weeks today. Baby hasn't seemed to have moved as much last few days (but I have measured 10 kicks in an hour when I checked last night)
Just want to know what others experience of movement is?

Hi I'm 27 weeks and he definitely has a routine, you can see my belly move when he kicks etc, my placenta is anterior and high

There was a thread about this earlier in the week:

Hope it helps!

You might want to looks at countthekicks.co.uk. I believe that the number of kicks isn't what matters, but more the normal pattern for you. I assume this is the same, anterior placenta or not.

Thanks MrsCrimshaw. This is very helpful. I must have missed it as I would have watched the thread!

Lillybug I don't really have regular movements that I can feel at the moment. Midwife reckoned that it wouldn't be till about 28 weeks for me.
My strongest ones are around this time at night and Bubs is moving about now. I'm a very paranoid pregnant person. I bought the pram today so I had decided that this has cursed my pregnancy. Thank god due date is only 15 weeks away. Not sure I can go much longer with this paranoia

sepa I have an anterior placenta and I am 26 weeks. I have quieter days and more active days, but I don't know if I just don't notice the movements as much when I'm busy at work and distracted for example. I wouldn't say I notice movement every single hour but I seem to get bursts of activity mid to late morning, after eating, and when I get into bed at night. Can definitely go several hours without noticing anything.

I had one and at that stage it was intermittent. He'd slope off and hide somewhere and scare the day lights out of me,
A few weeks further down the line I felt him constantly..

Try getting in all fours and having your dh give you a back rub and gently wiggle the bump - that always worked for me

I'm 27 weeks with anterior placenta and similar anxieties. Movements were intermittent a few weeks ago , becoming more regular now. Still second guessing slight variations, though. All very low or around the sides, definitely not feeling him straight on.

Think you're at the bit where he's got plenty if space to get into positions where you don't feel as much. It's never a bad thing to check with your midwife if you're worried, though.
