This is my first post in mumsnet, I am 13 weeks pregnant and in my 12 week scan we discovered baby's heart & stomach are on the right side of their body. At the moment all we have been told is that baby has situs inversus. We have an appointment with a specialist in two weeks, and a cardiac scan in January which will tell us more.
I have done lots of reading up and understand there are a few different forms of the condition. I think because baby's heart is on the right, that means they have dexocardia situs inversus totalis but I guess we won't know for sure until our 20 week scan?
Has anyone else got experience with this condition?
