Anyone had this noticed at 20 week scan?

Hi.
Yes I did. I worried like mad as the MW didn't know much about it and basically got told it could be nothing, I could have had a serious infection or baby could have down syndrome or cystic fibrosis.
Had a TORCH screen (toxoplasmosis, rubella, cmv, herpes test), blood test to see if I was a carrier of cf gene and a further scan by a consultant.

Everything came back clear and the bowel was fine on the scan. The consultant said it was more than likely I had a bleed and the baby had swallowed blood- nothing to worry about.
The consultant was really reassuring and said it showed up a lot and was usually nothing - especially if seen on its way with no other soft markers x
