Just that! Am nearly 7 weeks and suffering with pretty much 24 hour sickness. I find if I eat then it helps but it has to be something salty and carby! otherwise it just makes me throw up. Any suggestions!

Supernoodles. Trust me on this.

Salt and vinegar chipsticks, pretzels, wotsits, takeaway, chocolate...

I was so healthy pre pregnancy but now I haven't eaten a piece of fruit in 3 weeks- I've just force fed myself a shop bought fruit salad!

A couple of times I felt so sick that I had to TEXT my DH (who was sitting downstairs) for a cheese roll... Blush and then had to eat it lying down as I couldn't even move without wanting to heave.

Garlic Bread was always good, but I couldn't stand the smell of chips cooking... (still can't)

I found oranges and orange juice really helped. I went right off coffee and diet coke (probably for the best) and on to Capri sun. Orange segments helped too.

See isn't it strange about orange juice
... pre pregnancy I guarantee that would give me chronic heartburn. .. now it seems to really settle my stomach.

Potatoes. It is only in the last 4 days (10+6) I have been able to eat anything else (i can now mange ready salted crisps, plain bread, occasional digestive)

Had to be plain jacket potato, or mash, only butter nothing else.

If I ate ANYTHING else it came straight back up.

I was really thirsty but the thought of drinking even water made me heave. Ice lollies were ok. I did get dehydrated and it made it so much worse. Nurse who struggled to take blood due to dehydration recommended coke thru a straw. That has helped hugely. Now drinking about 750ml -1l coke per day.

Speaking made the sickness work. Being dressed or handling clothes (WTAF??) made it worse. Some of the cutlery we have made it worse (AGAIN WTAF??). Thinking about food or my dh asking how the food/illness had gone that day made it worse. Driving made it worse, but there was no way i could be a passenger as was even more violently sick then.

I have never felt so ill or so miserable as the past few weeks.

tesmsteady you sound like you've had a rough time! I've been struggling with seeing any food on TV or on fb and i've realised I follow an awful lot of foody people and pages...I've had to hide them as it just makes me bileous! Not able to go into the kitchen to make food either as that makes me feel sick...so glad I've got a supportive oh who has sorted all food for me!

not felt as bad today but i've just kept eating plain crisps, plain pasta, mash and apples. which have gone down well suprisingly!
