Now what?

I can't tell DH until tonight - should I do something like buy a pair of bootees and give them to him?

When do I need to go to the Dr's?

We're only going to tell a very select group of people for now (ie those who need to know for various reasons) and then tell wider friends and family after the first scan...

Don't really know what to do now!

Congratulations! If you ring your GP they will schedule a 'booking in' appointment where they set up your maternity file with the local hospital and give you a lot of paperwork to read. I think they usually book in around 6-8 weeks into your pregnancy. Can't help on telling DH - when I was pregnant with DS I blurted it out while DH was stood completely starkers in our kitchen having just stripped off after a game of footie and thrown his stinky clothes in the washing machine. He high fived me and went for a shower. Grin

Congrats!

Start taking folic acid if you haven't already....and avoid really hot baths.

I bought a really cute baby grow and wrapped it up for my OH :)

when I found out I done 6 tests (as I was told I couldn't have kids naturally) gave him the sticks and a book on survival dad to be book.

I went to the docs and they done another test cause they couldn't believe it either and gave me the midwife number so I can book my booking in appointment.

congratulations too :)

I've just found out today that I'm pregnant, 4 weeks I think. Eeeeek!! Only stopped the pill a month ago so it's happened very quick. Not even had a natural period.

I was terrified about telling my boyfriend - we'd planned to stop the pill and try properly after Christmas, so not a huge shock just very early. He responded by going "are you?" lol

DH didn't believe me! He asked me to do another test!
