Hi everyone. For the past few days I've thought I had a water infection. Tests have come back negative for water infection and kidney infection. Doctor thinks it might be thrush and wants me to go in to see a nurse tomorrow for some kind of vaginal test....im scared to death. I don't want anyone poking about up there resting! I asked the Dr if it would be ok and she said yes :-/ I'm just very uncomfortable with the idea. Has anyone else experienced thrush in their first trimester or had a similar test? I'm really scared about tomorrow :(

I have never had a test for thrush and was given a prescription just from describing symptoms. Maybe it will be a swab to test for thrush

In pregnancy, I just described symptoms and was given a prescription. A few years ago though, the Dr gave me a swab to do myself behind a curtain. No need for a separate appointment to see the nurse.
