Hi all, I am 39 so didn't expect it to happen so quickly (came off pill in August), so not completely sure on dates (wasn't keeping note of tom) but thing I am 4 weeks, due 23 July. Did clear blue which said 2-3 weeks since conception so it sounds roughly right. Shocked, excited, and joined up on here to try and find out more as feel quite underprepared and don't have anyone to talk to as we'd rather keep it quiet until a bit later. Got sore and growing boobs and cramps, and a bit of heartburn. Booked appt with nurse for flu jab and quick chat next week. Not sure there's anything else I can do for now? I was going to just try and carry on as normal with gym / work / trying to eat healthily. Any tips or advice much appreciated :)

Congratulations! Dh and I found out at the weekend that I'm pg with baby number 1! Doesn't feel real yet, got sore boobs and am very tired. Going to make a doctor's appointment for next week. If you're not already then start talking folic acid and vitamin D ASAP other than that us preggos just need to take it easy I think at this stage as I've read it's the most tiring. Xx

Congrats to you too - my 1st as well! I am taking folic acid and vit d. Not feeling too tired yet but am sure that will come. Didn't sleep much last night with all of it spinning around my head!

Congratulations, I also found out today! Very excited but slightly shocked.

Hey ladies

Congratulations! Crazycatlady39 I also found out last week, due 27 July.
This is my 1st pregnancy, but I suspected around Wednesday last week after my boobs were incredibly sore and I began to get stomach cramps. So happy!
I have started to feel quite tired, nothing too major, I felt quite sick last week but it's subsided this week, so far!
Appointment to see my GP on Saturday, haven't started to take any vitamins, but I have tried to up my calcium and fruit intake.

Very exciting. Like you, not sure what to do next! Some great threads though on here to help mums to be Smile

Congrats Karlene86 and Jo6526. I think I am due 23 July - my boyfriend and I have been working out dates based on when he was watching the rugby world cup! I am not feeling too tired or sick at the moment, just these cramps, and it always being on my mind. It feels so weird - how can everyone not know there's something different ...!
