Hi
hope u can help me!
I am currently on the pill but miss one sometimes or take it late...well, Ive been feeling weird the last couple of days so I was wondering how con I find out if Im pregnat? Cause I expect missing a period is quite the right answer as I am still taking the pill and I will have a period as soon as I stop it.
Would a test reveal it? Would my period stop anyway? What are the obvious signs?

When did you last "mess up" your pill?

Gio77 · 09/12/2006 00:03

Last month but I had a period. This month I didnt miss it but I definetely had to take 2 in the same day (which is not particularly safe)

SO you havent messed any up since having your last period? Is it the pill you have to take at the same time every day? What was the 1st day of you last period, and when are you due to stop your pill this cycle?

You can do a test approximately 2 weeks after unprotected sex....
based on a 28 sayd cycle

the best time to test is with the first wee of the day as the concetration of HCG is highest then.....some tests can be used earlier....eg first response...

you can get a false negative, but not a false positive.

you might want to call NHS direct as i am not sure about carrying on taking the pill if you think you might be pregnant

I was about to say the same, if you really think you might be pregnant I don't think you can take the pill.
