Sounds extremely odd. But whats that clicking/ticking noise coming from my bump??

Basically the title lol. I know it sounds so weird! But when im just sitting watching TV, relaxed, feeling baby moving. Then "click" its been happening for around 2 weeks ,and for the past week its happened a few times a day. Dont feel anything when it happens, i just hear it . very odd

And I'm 37+6 weeks

Ive been on Mumsnet many, many years and over that time have occasionally seen threads on this. I'm a midwife as well and have never come across this at work or in textbooks. Ive asked doctors about it and they look at me like im bonkers.

Some people in the past have suggested baby having hiccups. I'm not sure as often with hiccups the woman can feel the hiccups but this seems to be just a sound rather than a feeling? But I supoose some women don't feel the baby hiccuping but somehow just hear it.

Could it be gas? Do baby's pass gas in the womb?

I had this and was told it's the baby's joints clicking as they move their little limbs around.

Its the baby's joints clicking as they move! Strange I know but I also experience this (40 weeks today)
