Hi All,
I am new here and looking for advice really.
My last period was the 21st September, on the 21st October I had a positive clear blue test showing 1-2 weeks, on the 3rd November I tested again and got positive 3+ weeks.
I had an early scan at the hospital yesterday due to 2 previous miscarriages.
They said the CRL is measuring 5.3mm and there was no heartbeat and I should go back in 10 days.
She gave me a letter and told me to be on my way, wasn't very nice to be honest.
The letter says
Ultrasound View: good
Singleton Pregnancy
Gestational Sac - Present
Yolk Sac - Present
Embryo present: Fetal heart activity too early to determine
CRL 5.3mm
Diagnosis based on ultrasound findings: viable intraterine pregnancy
I have since found out that this letter is wrong due to the lady clicking on the wrong drop down box as there is no way it can be a viable pregnancy without a heartbeat.
I should have been 7 weeks 4 days yesterday but by the measurements it seems to be around just over 6 weeks, the nurse didn't tell me this.
I looked back at my fertility app and even though my period was the 21st for 3 days I had light bleeding on the 26th. So going by the 26th the measurements should be right?
Basically I don't really know what I am asking I just want some advice to keep me sane!
I have booked in to a private clinic on Wednesday and hopefully they should shed some light.
When should I see a heartbeat? Am I being optimistic keeping my hopes up?
Sorry for the long post
