Best tests for keeping their results?

I want to surprise dh with test if I am pg, and have heard some tests don't keep their results, they fade or disappear after a while - true? I want a clearblue digital one that will just say "pg or not pg" - do they stay that way forever?

Thanks

Never used a CB - but the ones with two pink stripes that are sold under no end of brand names stay.

I think the result shows for about 24 hours on a CB digital. I'm sure it says exactly how long in the instructions.

If I were to be pg I think I'd like to keep it for a christmas "present" for dh, not sure I'd be able to keep shtum for that long but it would be nice, so I might give the cb ones a miss. Shame though, theyre' so direct and clear - last tiem I gave dh a pg test he asked "what does this mean?"

I used a CB digital one this time around and it did indeed fade away although I'm not syre how long it lasted for. The same thing happened with the more traditional 'two stripes in the windows' one I used last time, but because that was 10 years ago, I can't remember which brand it was or how long the result was shown for!

I used a Tesco's own one for £4.99 and the lines are still there. Test was done in May!!!

cb digital tests don't stay with the result for long but the stick does still show 2 lines. We used the cb digital with dd and now with ds2b and have kept the test as a reminder for when they are older..! I;m quite sentimental like that .

You intend of keeping quite for 2 weeks..??!! Good luck..!!! Theres no way I could have done that..! BTW why don't you just do the test christmas eve or christmas morning ready to give hi on the actual day..just wrap it quickly etc..?? Saves you worrying if the result will go.? You should have another test to use..?

Ok, this is going to sound weird but my DH kept the pg tests for both DS (2.2) and this baby (due feb). Both still show the results. Did about six each time as couldn't quite believe it, some Clearblue, some Boots own.

not weird at all imo . Sentimental like me..!! LOL I even kept dd's umbilical cord tie .!! No doubt she will look back in 20 years time and ask " was mum mad..why has she kept all this shit"..!!!
