Shorting pains up my bum? I'm 19 weeks 3 days, and was sitting down earlier and now getting shooting pains up my bum, they passed quite quickly but now I've got an aching pain in my left buttock.
Any ideas of what this is? X x

Have you got a retroverted uterus? I've no idea but it might be that the growing baby's pressing on the base of your spine, causing those pains?

Sounds like sciatic nerve pain - have you lifted anything heavy? Everything loosens up in pregnancy and it can be easy to do your back and the pain can get referred down your buttocks and legs. I'd try and see an Osteopath or Physio if it continues. Nerve pain is horrible.
