Have I missed something?!

I'm 26 weeks, third DC. My last appointment was at 20 weeks for a scan. I think my next is 30 weeks with a midwife.

Have I missed something?! It feels like along time to go with no appointments! I know with DC1 there is a midwife appointment around now, but not for subsequent pregnancies?

I think that's about right now. They presume after your first you basically know what you're doing so don't need to see them as often, as you will be more likely to spot something being not quite right and would make contact yourself if needed.

That's what my mw told me anyway.

Yep, in second pregnancies you basically get left to it unless there's a problem. As well as the two scans, I've only had midwife appts at 10 weeks (booking), 16 weeks and 28 weeks. The next one isn't until 34 weeks.

Ah ok, that's good thank you. Feels like a lot less than last time!

I am on third, being treated as a 'first time' because of my age. Mainly she's just taking my blood pressure and declaring me fine. You can request an appointment if you feel anxious or concerned.

You should have blood tests at 28 weeks

I'm 26 weeks, first time. I had scan at 20 weeks, GP appointment at 25 weeks (which is for first timers only) next up is a blood test at 27 weeks, followed by a MW appt at 28 weeks.
