I'm only just pregnant but have acquired raging insomnia in the last ten days. What's that about? Anyone else have this. I'm cream crackered!

Hey lollyp16,I think your body is just trying to get adjusted to things, plus you are emotional and hormonal as well so these are contributes to sleepless nights.every woman body is different, remember, don't compare!for example,I have so much gas and I keep breaking wind and again,is part of the beauty of pregnancy and some women might no encounter what I am encountering!!(hope this makes you laugh)
I would lay off all sorts of drugs unless is prescribed by the Doc,first 16 weeks is the crucial period.
Don't worry too much, remember, happy mummy equals happy baby,oh and 1 thing I have discovered,GO OUT AND GET SOME FRESH AIR BECAUSE IT DOES HELP LIFT YOUR MOODS!!!2 weeks ago,I stayed at home for 5 days and I was a emotional wreak and probably felt the worst ever throughout my pregnancy!
So,the insomnia will past, just hang in there, and also, don't keep thinking about it because you need to be relaxed.... 😊

Had it all the way through first pregnancy also have it now (23 weeks second pregnancy) but I find it much easier as dd1 is up a lot anyway so I'm used to it.

I'm 13 weeks and had yesterday off. Went to be at 10:30 the night before and planned to stay in bed until 11am, to catch up on some sleep. 4:12am I woke up. 4:12am!
