Ibuprofen in third trimester

I'm 36 weeks pregnant, and stupidly took an ibuprofen last night without realising that I shouldn't.

After googling, I'm terrified that I've caused awful harm to the baby; Most important, it may cause a passage in the baby's heart to close prematurely, possibly leading to heart or lung damage or even death.

I rang the maternity unit at the hospital who said not to worry if just one small dose. However, I suffer from major anxiety and am still worrying and can't stop crying.

Has anyone took this in the third trimester?

I haven't but I'm a nurse and the midwife is right. A one off dose of pretty much anything is unlikely to cause any harm. You're 36 weeks, your baby is fully formed. The amount of drug that crosses the placenta from oral medication is tiny.
