So I can deal with the endless migraines heartburn reflux etc but what is driving me insane is the restless legs. Every single night from about 8pm and it stops me from sleeping. It's awful. (Know I shouldn't moan as I'm lucky to be pregnant but it's getting to me).

This is dc3 and everything seems to be worse this time round! Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!

I feel your pain!!

I seem to remember last time taking iron tablets (following being diagnosed anaemic) helped! It's just starting again now this time ... 14 weeks.

I had restless legs much worse with dc number three as well.

It was a while ago, so I can't cite my sources, but I ate a banana and drank a glass of milk before bed and that definitely helped. Iirc, it was something to do with the potassium in the bananas and the tryptophan? in the milk.

I was also told making sure you stay well hydrated is important as well.

Just read Discofairypants' post and remembered I used to take a dose of Floradix with my banana and milk - sooo appetising, but it was worth it for me.

I had it really badly with my first and found a warm bath before bed using something soothing such as the mum and me bump bubble bath really helped. Using anything else seemed to irritate it more

I had a bath in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep last night. It seemed to relax so will try a bath before bed I think!
