Hi! I'm now 4 or 5 days late on my period, and I've taken a clear blue test but it came up a negative result! Are they reliable ? I'm kind of freaking out! Please help!

Clear Blue can take awhile to show anything up - you need to look at the mIU levels, the lower the level the more sensitive it is - you may well find store own brands are better! Best of luck!

Try First Response - they are the most sensitive in my experience. Good luck!

Superdrug own brand tests are super sensitive, you don't need to spend £££ to get a decent test. Try your best to use first morning urine and sample mid stream. I found it easier to get a clean plastic (or paper) cup to collect sample to dip test, just be very careful to not dip too far to make sure you don't 'flood' the test.
Best of luck!

An alternative story - I only got a positive 13 days after my period (ovulated really, really late!)

(Period was due....)
