Work meeting - how far should I travel?

Been scheduled into a meeting a three hour drive away when I'll be just shy of 34 weeks pregnant. Should I take my notes and hospital bag? Am I being ridiculous thinking it's a bit too far to go at 34 weeks? First baby.

I would take notes (if I remembered!) but nothing else.

Take notes deffo. I am 32 weeks and commute 200 miles (by train) each way twice a week. But train is easier, 3 hour drive is long, and I presume will include an overnight?
If you're not comfortable don't do it.

I went away at 35 weeks for a weekend and took hospital bag and notes just in case. The chance of them being needed is remote but having them was peace of mind.

Are you expected to drive there and back on the same day?

Topsy34 · 09/11/2015 16:56

i would take your notes. I left my notes in the car from 32 weeks when i was in my old job and pg with ds.

It's there and back in a day, but I'll be a passenger in the car. I'll definitely take my notes then. Thank you all.

Being driven is far better than doing the driving provided you have enough space.

Worth asking the driver in advance if it's ok to plan in a quick rest stop on the way so you can stretch your legs [and have a wee]
