Signs of labour

Hi

I'm 38+3 today and so far haven't felt any signs my body is getting ready for labour - no BHs, not lost my mucus plug, don't think baby is engaged (wasn't at my last appointment which was 36+4 and don't feel like my LO is any lower since then though hard to tell!)

Anyone else out there been in a similar situation and if so did anything happen before your contractions started (or did you end up being induced)?

I realise I have another few weeks left before it will come to induction, just looking for some assurances that things can still start naturally!

Hi, I'm 40wks +1 and only started getting BH this week, still not lost mucus plug and bump only 'dropped' a couple days ago, feeling like this pregnancy is never going to end lol obviously can't comment on what happens next as I'm still wondering the same! Got mw Thursday if nothing happens before then... good luck

DD was riding low for a few weeks, but other than that, I had no signs. I went into labour at 39+4 I never did get to see my plug, not that I minded.

Totally normal not to know you are about to go into labour until you do - don't worry!

Don't worry at only 38+3! On my due date I'd had no signs at all. Nothing whatsoever in the preceding weeks, DS wasn't even engaged. Thought I'd end up being induced.

Then I went for a walk, got horrendous backache, and he was in my arms the following night.
