I'm being induced today and I'm absolutely petrified, don't know what to expect! They're starting me on prostglandin gel ..

I was induced with the pessary and it didn't work the first time but did the second.

Have they explained the procedure to you and what to expect? That helps ease anxiety a little.

I hope you're feeling OK. Sometimes induction is for the best so don't feel too put out.

Induction was fine for me ... but did you remember the really important thing, getting a manicure for all the photos of you holding baby? There may still be time. : )

It's fine. The best thing is when you start pushing (eventually!) and the baby starts moving down you see your body gradually going back to a human shape! Then gorgeous baby arrives. I had suction at the end as he got stuck. Even that was fine. Don't rule out an epidural tho! Best of British! X
