Please someone tell me it isnt possible to get pregnant on the first day following end of period.

Stupidly had unprotected sex the day after I finished my period, and im worrying.

I know Im not due on until xmas weekend, but i still keep worrying!

very very unlikely............esp if you are regular , would not ovulate until around day 12 - 14 so if day 1 is the first day of your period, and it finishes on day 6, highly unlikely any swimmers will be hanging around for 6 - 8 days to meet the egg!!!

period started the monday, finished friday, unprotected sex saturday.

always 28 days - 29 at most.

the thought of another baby would be enough to send me over the edge! (however much i would love one!)

on a 28 day cycle it is not impossible

Sperm can live for 5-7 days depending on vitality of sperm and how hostile your (cods fave here) cervical mucous is.
Around 2-3 days prior to ovulation your fertile mucous starts to build up. if the sperm is still alive at this point then it is possible
Depends on what day you ovulate.

the only reason I actually know this is because of the reality of my nearly 13 yr old son
I had it explained in great detail at the time as was incredulous, more so as had been on the pill also although had been on antibiotics but had thought oh well first coupla days will be ok...
but I was 22 and exp was 21, I'm sure as you get older these things become far less likely
Anyway if you're off to see Jason Donovan JARM that would kill any live sperm instantly

im due in mid jan and i had unprotected sex at end of period with my ex and im hoping its not his ( i slept with my ex as a one night stand)... i had sex later on in cycle with guy i was seeing at time (sound right slapper i know)...ive thought all along though that it is the ex's but im given a glimmer of hope by this thread
