Im 19 weeks today and still not feeling any movement, my placenta is in the correct place. I heard heartbeat last tuesday, but im so worried that something is wrong :( it's my 3rd baby but atill can't help but worry. Whats the longest you guys have gone until you felt movement?

I didn't feel any until 21 weeks and it was very subtle then.

I didn't feel anything till around 21 weeks with both of mine but I had an anterior placenta with both and so was told I'd feel movement later. It's always difficult not to worry but you can always give the midwife a call and see if they'd be happy to check you over for reassurance. Hope he/she starts wriggling soon!

Thank you makes me feel a bit better knowing you guys were 21 weeks. I have my 20 week scan next friday so there is not a lot my midwife will do if im not bleeding or in pain

I was convinced after I heard the baby's heartbeat at 16 weeks that my placenta was that the back as the heartbeat was so clear. I worried also that I hadn't felt movement as MW said j would feel Bubs soon as like me she assumed placenta would be at back. 20 weeks scan (at 20+4) and I have an anterior placenta. No real movements till 21 weeks. You may find that you either have an anterior placenta or that the baby is sitting the wrong way or something so baby could be kicking inwards and not outwards. I wouldn't worry at the moment about movement. Good luck for your scan

I didn't feel either of my boys until about 21 weeks - I thought I would feel DS2 earlier because I'd know what to look out for but nope.

I put it down to the fact that I just have really small babies and their tiny little ineffectual legs were packing no punch Smile

I didn't start feeling until 22 weeks and she's not stopped since

But until then, nothing

I felt nothing until 23 weeks, try not to worry.
