I'm sat waiting for someone to put me on the ctg monitor after only having felt my baby move once this morning. DP won't be here for atleast an hour and I am really really terrified, please hold my hand while I wait

I hope your DP arrived and everything is ok. Please let us know.

What an evening!!

Finally got seen and they found a heartbeat, cue tears of relief!!

Took a little while for it to be in a 'normal' rhythm but after the doctor had had a look at the trace and had a chat they sent me home to have a sleep.

Am back tomorrow for more monitoring but am truly grateful for all of your kind words while I was truly terrified and lonely, it helped beyond measure.

Oh thank goodness! The little scamp hiding away giving us all the fright of our lives if ever you don't feel happy my lovely just get yourself in there. I can't tell you how relieved I am for you. I hope the remaining 12 weeks are worry free and very very boring. In fact I wish you the most dull pregnancy ever

I like the sound of a boring 12 weeks!! Probably going to be 10 weeks as they are keen to whip this one out as soon as it's safe to do so due to bp, less time for worry though so I won't complain!!

Ok 10 weeks is doable. no more excitement until then.
