Preeclampsia -signs

Hi, I went to the mcu about two weeks ago to monitor baby for reduced movements (all was well). My blood pressure has been 110/60 all through pregnancy but when I went to mcu (at 29 weeks) it was 120/86 (not high but higher) and I had one + for protein in my urine. They asked if I had a urine infection (I didn't) and it was left at that. Tonight whilst getting a bit of shopping in Morrisons I picked up a can of tuna and my vision vibrated - it sort of rattled and then went back to normal and I'm now paranoid it's a sign of preeclampsia.I have no other symptons - no swelling or headaches. Just thought I'd see if anyone has had anything similar? I'm 31 weeks. Thanks

I would get checked out again asap. I had similar from about 35 weeks, my 'high' BP and 1+ urine was first discovered after a day of reduced movement. I had slightly swollen ankles, feet and hands, mild headaches - but I have chronic facial pain anyway. I had a couple of times of funny vision but they weren't worried in conjunction with everything else being fairly low level, but it is one of the symptoms they ask about. I had twice weekly monitoring until 38 weeks when I was offered a sweep and then induction as my BP was continuing to creep up. DD arrived at 38 and 3, she is now 9 months.

I'd go and get it checked out... It's a pain having to go in loads for monitoring I know, I had to go every other day in the end. High BP and painful swollen legs and feet were my main symptoms. And plus 1 protein. Was induced early because I'm T1 diabetic, so it didn't actually develop into full pre-eclampsia. Wishing you well!

Thanks both. I'll give my midwife a call this morning and see what she says. x

Just to take this full circle in case anyone comes across this thread in future; all is well. Fortunately my blood pressure has actually gone down and no protein present so the vision thing was just an unexplained weirdness. Thanks for your help though. x

Glad there was nothing to worry about. Hope everything continues to go well.
