7 weeks pregnant, heavy bleeding, clots and cramping.

I know that this is a long shot but other than touch my stomach in a few places all my doctor did was say I've probably miscarried and booked me an Ultra scan on Wednesday which is 5 days from now.. I would just like to know if anyone that's had heavy bleeding, clots and cramping around 7 weeks has had a healthy pregnancy..
I'm 21 y/o and this is my first pregnancy and I've done nothing but cry since I first saw blood so if someone could put my mind at ease for the next few days I'd be eternally grateful

I did with dd3. There was alot alot of blood. I was utterly convinced it was over but she's now 3. I'm not saying it's common or something that you shouldn't worry about but it's not beyond the realms of possibility that everything will be ok. Try not to worry and rest up as much as you can.

I think OP you need to prepare yourself but heavy bleeding isn't always a miscarriage. Could you go for a private scan? Or call an EPU and see if they would see you? It seems very cruel your gp is leaving you distressed and not knowing for 5 days. Terrible!

Sorry to hear about your worries.

I've had heavy bleeding and cramps in Week 6. Only Week 11 now, so can't say yet whether I'll make it or not, but it was good news after the bleeding and cramps in Week 6. I was convinved the baby was gone, too, and couldn't stop crying, but then it was all fine at that point (continuing to be difficult, but they have now found why - bicornuate uterus).

It took me 4 days to get a GP appointment, by which time I was a bit of a wreck. The GP then transferred me to the Early Pregnancy Unit, and they were great - saw me for a scan the same day and have continued to be very supportive. Maybe google and see whether there's one near you?

I also had another GP appointment with another GP in the same surgery afterwards (when the bleeding continued and before they had found the cause - I went back to the EPU 3 times) who was a bit like your GP - very blasé and basically told me that the baby was probably gone and that there was no point in me coming back or seeing any other health professional as it was probably too late anyway, so I can imagine how you're feeling about your GP being so uncaring - once again, I found the nurses at the EPU much better in this respect.

How awful that these GPs are bring so dismissive. I know they see it very often but they need to be sensitive to the fact that it is very upsetting!
The best thing to do is go into your Early pregnancy unit. If you have had red blood then they should scan you.
