Hi today when I went to the toilet I had a very small dot of blood on mu underwear and upon wiping and had a smear of fresh blood on the paper. I called the hospital who said to take it easy and to call in again if it happens again. So i can't help but think I need checked over. Would I be bu to call and say I had some more so I get a once over? Thanks

No, I absolutely wouldn't lie, but if you want to be checked the call back and ask.

Have you recently had sex? Have you got a low lying placenta or any other issues which make you high risk? Is baby still moving normally? do you feel well? I had the exact same thing at 26 weeks - they had me in for a once over as I have a low lying placenta and am considered high risk. They advised me to put a pad on and monitor the bleeding - I didn't have any more and everything was fine.

No sex placenta high up baby's moving fine it's just I feel like there's something wrong can't get it out my head . I know lieing really isn't best but they won't see me .

I would go in for monitoring. I had a red bleed at 34 weeks and went in. All was fine and it was just said to be 'one of those things'.
Reassurance is priceless though.

Mothers instinct is a big factor in these things and part of midwives assessment of situations, I'd get checked out for reassurance.

I've just come back from the hospital as I woke to a fair amount of red blood this week. I'm 34 weeks and all is ok but they monitored me and I had an anti d injection.
No concerning source of the bleeding, so I feel reassured

I've had no more bleeding that's good at least still prefer to be seen but doesn't look like I will thank you

If the hospital won't check you over, which they absolutely should do! Then I'd lie and say you've noticed more so that they actually do see you.

Try not to worry though, but just be insistent. Hope all is ok for you, I'm sure it is.
