I'm 40+4 and I seem to have an ear infection.

Is there anything over the counter I can try? I can't get into the doctors until Saturday morning and I'm worried that's going to be too late. Sad

Thanks

Paracetamol for the pain is all you can have. Could you go to a walk in centre?

Hey OP,

I had one last week, was given antibiotics but trying to fight it off myself. Did ok so far but today getting a full feeling in my ear again so starting again;

Try warming up some olive oil with crushed garlic. Put a few drops in your ear & lie down so it doesn't run out. Take paracetamol for pain. Good luck!

As a random question because I read a story about viral infections & stillbirth; not medically treating an ear infection won't cause harm elk it? That's more for UTIs etc?

Go to the out of hour doctors and get it checked - you might need antibiotics. Any infection should be checked, even more so if you are pregnant. There are plenty of antibiotics that are safe in pregnancy.
