Missed period

Hello, I am looking for some advice. I am 5 1/2 late for my period. I've done two pregnancy tests, both negative but for the last 4 weeks I've been spotting pretty much everyday. I spoke to the doc and he said to sit it out and eventually my period will come but I'm stil a bit concerned. We have been trying for a baby for 3 months and this doesn't seem 'normal' to me. Has anyone else experienced this, or anything similar? Thank u xx

I've been 2 weeks late and not pregnant before! Do you have any other symptoms? I was 4 days late and a boots pregnancy test showed a very strong positive. But then there are people who only see very faint lines! Are you testing in the morning? Xxx
