Sorry but had to post! Am currently sat infront of my computer blubbering like a baby!
Was in the kitchen playing monopoly with my flatmates, and you no the rule where if you land on somebody's property, but they don't say anything and somebody else roles - so you don't have to pay? (these were the rules we were playing by anyway)Well that happened to me, landed on somebody elses patch and they didn't say anything until the following person had played. He's usually extremely calm and chilled out, but he kind of lost it a bit with me. He accused me of cheating and started moaning about how nobody ever takes him seriously. But lots of other people had done this and nothing was said. I was lost for words by his sudden outbreak towards me - which nobody else seemed to pick up on. I paid him anyway and he snatched the money out of my hands.
Feeling tears welling up in my eyes i made an excuse and left the game and the room. Got to my bedroom and completly broke down! This isn't like me, usually i would have just laughed it of and carried on - but i couldn't!
Am 15 weeks pregnant, am i just being silly and hormonal? Is it normal to get this upset over such trivial things?

Yes very normal but he did cheat!

lloydie · 05/12/2006 21:25

I'm not one for crying, but when pregnant with my DD I remember going home and crying because I was so grateful that my friend was working my overtime so I wouldn't have to do it, cos I was soooooo tired.

I think we are all hormonal when pregnant, in fact I just asked a similar question about feeling angry, and got lots of lovely support.

You're not alone.

Normal normal normal - I cry all the time! Sometimes for no reason whatsoever which is highly embarrassing!

TEEstheCEEsontobejolly · 05/12/2006 21:34

Oh bless your little pregnant heart! Yes, it's totally and utterly normal. It's horrid though isn't it. Crying, knowing really that you're being a bit mad but not being able to stop.

Someone I once knew was pregnant and her Dh went to the chippie. He said 'do you want anything?' she said 'no', he rechecked, still no, he checked another 3 or 4 times. When he got back she burst into tears. He said 'why are you crying?', she said 'you never surprise me'!!!
He then found her in the kitchen eating his left over chips out of the bin!!!!!!!!

Love those pregnancy hormones, NOT!!!!

Lwatkins · 05/12/2006 21:36

oh thanks guy's! Good to hear it's not just me as well. Yes this is my first pregnancy, so anything unusual like the crying get's me a bit worried that i'm not alright!!!!

Expect to be like Jekyll and Hyde for the next 7 months!

PinkTinsel · 05/12/2006 21:42

i realised i was pregnant with my second as i broke down at work because an oldman was nice to mewhen my boss yelled at me.... couldn't stop crying for 2 hours and went home and did a test!

perfectly normal, and he did cheat!

PortAndLemonaid · 05/12/2006 21:47

Oh, so normal (and he definitely cheated, by the way). Expect to blub over any even faintly heartstring-tugging TV commercial, any human interest newspaper or magazine story, and definitely any emotional situation in real life.

And just wait for the three-day post-partum baby blues where (as my NCT teacher put it) you'll burst into tears if someone wears the wrong colour sweater...

Lwatkins: when I was in the first trimester I dreamed my DH snogged another woman.

I cried the whole of the next day.

It was a dream fgs.

And your mate is a big, fat cheat! .

In fact, I think his reaction was more emotional and irrational than yours!

ScoobyDooTheyKnowItsChristmas · 06/12/2006 15:54

I would say your having a girl i spent the whole time crying when pg with Dd

I cried once & dp came home from work & asked why i was crying i then started laughing & was laughing & crying at the same time, i said i did not even know why i was crying in the 1st place!

Boobooroastingonanopenfire · 06/12/2006 16:00

I'm like that, Scooby, and I'm having a boy.

PinkTinsel · 06/12/2006 16:53

booboo, i dreamed my dp left me at the alter to go crocodile hunting and wouldn't speak to him for a day and was mad at him for months damn hormones!

Boobooroastingonanopenfire · 06/12/2006 19:48

lol @ crocodile-hunting DH.

paulaplumpbottom · 06/12/2006 20:12

I am so glad that I am not the only one who gets mad at DH because he did something in my dreams.

julezboo · 06/12/2006 20:31

totally normal and I agree he cheated and his reaction was a bit far fetched!

Ive also lost it with DP over something he did in a dream!

and laughed and cried at the same time - im having a boy!
