Does anyone else feel massive with their second or subsequent children? I am pregnant with DS2 and feel about a month further on than I am if not more. I was big with DS1 so knew I would be. I am so much more hungry and swear I am eating too much too :s!! I was not overweight when I got pregnant but was a stone heavier than with previous pregnancy. I refuse to weigh myself though as it will just make me depressed! Just wondered if anyone else feels big this time around?!

I'm 30 weeks with DC and look and feel gigantic Confused When I compare myself with other bumps at my yoga class, I feel really panicked - there are some ladies there who are much further along than me, but their bumps are tiny
But I measured bang on track at my last MW appointment, so it must be all in my head...

*DC2!

Yep. My husband even asked me yesterday how much weight I'd put on! Funnily enough I've not weighed my self recently!
Am currently 31 weeks.. Can not envisage how I'll move by the time I'm term.
One of my most shameful moments last time was it taking three people to roll me over in bed when I had the epidural in.. This time they might need a crane

Yes... am 15 weeks, look more like I did at 25 last time! It's weird actually as I know the baby and uterus still aren't massive, but I automatically stroke my whole bump as if the baby is filling it! There are so many diagrams of where the uterus is as the weeks go by for first pregnancies, but I can't find any that show you anatomically what's going on inside to cause the much bigger bump second time round. Does the uterus actually rise higher, faster this time?

I certainly felt bigger much earlier than with DD1, however I think now at 34 weeks it has levelled off and I'm about the same size as last time.

aww makes me feel not alone - def need to lay off the sweets and choc tho I have massive cravings for them! Trying to limit myself to say 2 biscuits a day!

Yep. I've put on more weight already with DC2, at 27weeks, than I did in the whole pregnancy with DC1.
I'm HUGE already and keep being asked if I'm due any day.

Everythinggettingbigger · 27/10/2015 16:35

yep!! 9 weeks today and have a bump the size I did when I was 15 weeks in first pregnancy! may be something to do with the amount im eating....may not be all bump but just can not stop myself!! definitely going to end up like a whale!

AdorabeezleWinterpop · 27/10/2015 17:10

21 weeks with DC3 and look about 30! However, at my 20 week scan the baby was measuring on 95th centile for everything, so maybe some of it is due to a big baby!

KatyK1980 · 28/10/2015 07:29

25+5 with baby number 2 and feel HUGE!
I'm pretty short so I guess that could be part of it, I was big with baby 1 but sure am bigger this time. Keep obsessively googling pictures of other people's bumps at this stage and convincing myself I'm bigger than them all! :-/

I'm 25 weeks and definitely look full term already, people keep asking me when D Day is, and almost collapsing when i saw Valentine's day.. their next Q becomes ''is it twins??''
I'm panicking as to what i'll be like in 10-12 weeks, as i have a 40 min bus commute to and from work, it's going to be hell.. i was SO neat last time, but then i put on weight on maternity leave- all those coffee mornings!!!!
