So I'm 7+3 with my 2nd pregnancy. My nipples are a bit sore, I'm tired and bloated (but often am anyway) and I've had a bit of nausea but nothing much (also not sure if Its just worry that's making me feel a tiny bit sick). Just can't shake the feeling that there's something wrong and the thought of another 5 weeks of worrying before my scan is not appealing! I remember being like this last time, can't really afford private scan and husband thinks I'm bring crazy! Anyone else in s similar position? I wish I would just get a grip!!

I'm with you happydays! I'm 6+2 with DC2, feeling tired & bloated, sometimes a bit bleurgh in my tummy and have a stuffy nose. I know I'm pregnant, I took 2 tests and have no period still, no bleeding either thankfully, but still, until you see something on a scan it's hard to stop worrying! Try and make yourself reeeeally busy for the next few weeks, anything to keep your mind occupied x

Louisee58 · 26/10/2015 14:01

Its hard isn't it, I'm 8+6 with DC2, slight nausea, big appetite, nipples a bit sore and really tired, but other than that not much else, got quite a bump showing at the min and although I had a scan at 5-6 weeks due to pains in my shoulders, and seen a heart beat, my next scan cant come quick enough, the waiting around is horrible!! 3 weeks to go, just trying to keep myself busy.

You have namechecked tired, bloated, nauseous and with sore nipples - not a bad list I'd say. And the fact you were the same last time should help reassure you too. Im currently 21wks and largely symptomless throughout - my bump is finally emerging (though as a casual observer you'd just think I'd been hitting the pies) but before that all I had to show symptom wise was bigger boobs and the odd day of vicious acid reflux yet my 12 and 20 weeks scans were fine. I say celebrate the fact you feel largely as normal.

Happydays2000 · 26/10/2015 14:29

Thank you all for your encouraging words, good to know it's not just me! I do feel a bit guilty that some people are really suffering and I'm moaning about lack of symptoms. Guess il just have to keep busy as you say - and try to resist the temptation of another 5 pregnancy tests!

I'm 10 weeks tomorrow and I've got nothing. Maybe a little tiredness.

No sickness, no bump, no sore boobs (double mastectomy and reconstruction in 2006 means I didn't expect that symptom!), nothing.

NHKX2 · 26/10/2015 14:57

Even after three positive pregnancy tests, I was worried that I wasn't really pregnant because I had no symptoms apart from tender breasts. My first ultrasound was at 11 weeks and I honestly expected there to not be a baby! Now I'm nearly 28 weeks and the tenderness in my breasts has gone away, and I have virtually no other symptoms other than a large belly and an active baby that reassures me she is there several times a day. I'm just grateful and pray it continues to go so smoothly. I'm mentally preparing myself for a horrible labour just to even it all out ;)

PrincessPunzie · 26/10/2015 15:15

I'm in the same camp. 7+5 today and other than sore boobs and frequent weeing I don't have much to report. Some mild and infrequent nausea in the last week but that might be the cold I've come down with. However I had a heartbeat detected a week ago so I'm trying to remain upbeat. My mum says that her first pregnancy wasn't very symptom-y either so I'm holding to that for a bit of optimism as well. Good to read that not everyone is spending all their time with their head down a toilet, it definitely makes me feel less worried!

5hell · 26/10/2015 16:26

i think you just cant win with pregnancy symptoms! I'm 17w and have been lucky to only have (at various times) sore/swelling boobs, nausea, bloating, tiredness, super-sense of smell, hunger and a slowly growing bump. It's hard when symptoms come and go too - pregnancy is nothing but worry! I know I'm lucky, especially compared to women with HG etc, but having mc'd in april i like all the reassurance i can get.

I think it would be easier all round if our stomachs just turned blue and stayed that way until healthy baby is born!...no other symptoms necessary!

congratulations OP and good luck with the next 8+ months :)

Happydays2000 · 26/10/2015 16:51

Thank you, I do feel more reassured after reading these messages. Will try to relax a little x

I had very few symptoms in the first trimester aside from a couple days of feeling tired, a few cramps during implantation and vague disinterest in food. That was it. I found it hard to believe I was pregnant until the 12 week scan showed there really was a baby inside me.

Now I'm 38 weeks and having lots of symptoms. Smile So you never know what the future holds. I really hope the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly.

ThreeBeanRap · 27/10/2015 10:22

I was the same, I felt a bit sick but was never actually sick - was hungry and tired but nothing else at all. If I hadn't known I was pregnant I would never have guessed it. 36w now though and definitely there's a baby in there!

sugarbun123 · 27/10/2015 13:20

Hi all- I'm new to this so please bear with me. Hubby and I did the deed a few weeks back and he thinks he may have had an 'accident'. A week later I had sore boobs, cramping and a feeling of heaviness/ pressure. Those feeling gradually subsided about 2 weeks later. I'm now 3 days late for my period but I'm getting the usual symptoms of PMT and a feeling that I'm just about to start my periods. I'm also getting headaches everyday. But no nausea etc. My cycle is pretty good. I want to wait a bit longer to take a test as I don't want to get my hopes up but I'm going mad thinking about it. Because I don't have nausea I've convinced myself that I'm not pregnant. Does the symptoms indicate that I might be pregnant? Hmm thank you xx

CottonSock · 27/10/2015 13:26

Sounds like pretty normal symptoms to me op. Exactly how I feel now and felt with my daughter. Not every one is sick. Near me you can get private scans for £35 so not always expensive if you can't hold out

Happydays2000 · 27/10/2015 15:19

I just found a private scan today for £49 so booked it. My nipples aren't really sore anymore and I'm just driving myself crazy!! Fingers crossed all will be well! X

Sugarbun No one can say from symptoms, you need to pee on a stick. As you're 3 days late it should be pretty definitive. Good luck!

sugarbun123 · 27/10/2015 17:49

Yes I know Paperblank, I bought a test today Smile. I feel so silly being nervous about peeing on a stick but I will do it to put me out of my misery either way lol Grin

Paperblank · 27/10/2015 17:53

It is a very strange feeling peeing on a stick because you know that if it's positive life is never going to be the same again.

Deep breath and pee Grin

Reebok · 27/10/2015 18:46

Please try not to worry OP about symptoms. I have been pregnant 4 times and each time have had Hyperemesis (hg)...out of those 4 pregnancies I have one daughter, am currently 13 weeks with dC2 and have miscarried twice....so symptoms do not always guarantee a healthy pregnancy. If you're not feeling too bad, enjoy it! Seriously! I would love to be in your shoes and not feel sick!

Happydays2000 · 27/10/2015 21:21

Thanks Reebok and sorry you've had such a rough time! Will try and relax x

Op When's your scan? Mine is the 5th, counting down. Hope I didn't encourage you to spend money with my news of bargain scans ;)

KatyK1980 · 28/10/2015 08:56

Hi there! I'm currently 25+5 with baby number 2. I had hardly any symptoms at all during the first trimester, just extra tired. I got really paranoid that maybe I wasn't really pregnant and by the time I had my first scan was convinced there wouldn't be anything there! Of course it was all fine! Relax and enjoy feeling well :-)

Happydays2000 · 28/10/2015 12:47

Scan is on wed (4th). Had already booked it when I read your message cottonsock- didn't need much encouragement don't worry. Good luck for yours x
