Hi,
I'm 11weeks pregnant and had an early scan at 8weeks as I've a bicornuate uterus. All was ok,baby was in the left 'horn' and saw the baby's heart beating...
I'd had slight abdominal pain then but have since started to get pains on both sides which I'm guessing is my body changing etc. But today I've had shooting pains on the left and into my bum!
Two days ago I realised i no longer had horrific morning sickness or super sore boobs.
Im not bleeding/spotting or feeling unwell. In fact, ive felt great the last few days apart from the pains.
Is this normal...?! I have a Dr appt tomorrow anyhow. X

Symptoms can ease off at around 10/11 weeks when the placenta takes over. Since you mentioned the pain going into your bum, it could be sciatica. When mine plays up it causes pain in one of my bum cheeks which can then radiate down my leg dependent on how bad it is.

The shooting pains are normal. I had them loads up my bum and in my bits too (I think the technical term is fanny daggers haha)

I think it's everything stretching and adjusting in there. I had them a lot at the end of the first trimester and now they've started up again at 40+2.
