I started losing what I think is the mucus plug yesterday. I have no experience of this when had my dd. is it normal to lose it this early?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Have you rung your midwife?
I'm not sure sorry, I think it can grow back? But speak to your midwife.

I lost some of mine at 27 weeks and freaked out. It wasn't a lot and it wasn't bloody though.

I've been losing little bits of it every few days and I'm 39+4 today.

If it's just mucus it's pretty normal in small quantities that's just your cervix cleaning itself, if there is blood in it or you are loosing lots then have a word with your midwife, they do regenerate themselves

I lost some at 21 weeks, again at 29, 33, 35 and 37. DS was born at 38, but I did have threatened premature labour. Best to get checked
