Or whatever they call it. Have to admit my memory is sketchy on pregnancy first time round but Im sure I didnt feel this until I was 20 weeks last time.

wouldnt have thought so this early on think earliest tends to be 14wks or so as there are no limbs etc as yet.

Its not like kicks though its like that thing you get with little flutters like water. Im not describing this very well I know.

I had butterflies when I was first preg with dd2 - all churny and stuff in my stomach, like I was excited. Is it like this? Like Nemo says, it won't be the baby itself yet, it's too early.

Yeah, no its not like the kicking, I had this first time round but not this early - I think Doctor called it quickening or something like ripples of water.

I have had funny feeling like stuff moving inside but think it is more related to stretching etc which happens earlier.

i could feel ds fluttering at 10 weeks, proper kicks that dp could feel by 12

with my forst i could feel fluttering at 12 weeks and decent kicks at 15

so not impossible if you''re quite sensitive

I felt this one from 9 weeks, I kept telling myself it couldn't possibly be the result of the baby moving, but when I had a scan as he moved on the screen I could feel him inside. I was absolutely huge by 9 weeks though (people - strangers - were saying things like 'not long to go now....' by then) so I think I must have had an awful lot of fluid which may have made the ripple effect of his movements more noticable to me.
