Sounds like it, let you midwife know so they can refer you to physio as there can be a bit of a wait. And just a warning, a lot of trusts now do a group session and not actually hands on, but they should provide you with some sort of support (like a tubigrip thing). You have my sympathy, I am suffering with PGP (pelvic girdle pain afka spd) at 27 weeks. Apparently it starts earlier with subsequent pregnancies.

I'd actually recommend going private if you have the money. A good women's health physio or osteopath should help. I had no joy with the useless NHS physios. And putting on a support belt or tubi before your pelvis has been properly assessed can cause more damage.

I had pgp from 18 weeks in my first pregnancy but didn't have it (apart from the odd twinge) in 2nd preg.

This is my 3rd I had it near the end with my 2nd took me ages to get out of bed because of the pain but I only had a few weeks left so I just dealt with it . I can't afford private but have midwife next week so will her inform her as the pain is intense at times hopefully will get some advice thank you for all yours Smile

I'm in agony with this too. Got my physio appointment next week thank god. I'm only 23 weeks and started feeling it from about 16 weeks this time round last time it started at about 27 weeks so by the time I saw the physio I was 36 weeks gone and already on mat level so not much help. Everything I do makes it hurt, can't even turn over in bed without grimacing in pain.
